Overview of CommandHub
CommandHub is a secure environment where entities share, distribute and access information that is sensitive and of value to them. This information may include documents, multimedia (video, photographs, images etc) as well as other digital assets. CommandHub is provided as a managed service based on a monthly pay-per-use basis. The service is inherently secure and is provided either as a ‘Protected’ or ‘Highly Protected’ classification. Access to the service is browser based and is managed quite separately to a client’s internal IT system.
The environment is set-up and managed by an Administrator who must be a trusted person in the entities business. The Administrator defines the access rules and permissions based on the policies and procedures of the business. These are enforced within the service through the unique identifier of each individual who is granted access. Underpinning the service is a non-repudiatory audit trail which identifies and details each individual’s use of the service and their access to the documents and information. The information generated through the audit trail is delivered into a reporting engine which enables the client to determine the access and use of the service, as well as any correspondence or question and answer process that has been undertaken.
How CommandHub is used?
CommandHub has four foundation functions which define the role and use of the service.

The development and distribution of senior management/ executive committee agenda’s, documents and information;
A consensual and authorisation process for specific documents and information;
Immediate access to all previous minutes, information and dialogs to each user, based on their permissions
To provide and manage the processes specific to vendor management, tendering and mergers & acquisitions.

The creation of separate environments for each bidding party where all information which passes through the service is held and managed
A structured communication (question and answering) process that captures all dialogs between the entity and the third parties.
A consensual and authorisation process around the sharing of information as well as the responses to key questions.
On demand audit trail and reporting on the access and use of the service by all individuals and parties.
An environment for the distribution and access of sensitive or confidential information.

The Service
May be utilised to distribute and access sensitive information internally within an entity as well as externally to partners, suppliers or clients. Multiple environments can be set up and managed under many or a single Administration.
May be used to manage departmental confidential information. CommandHub will control distribution, access, storage and the deletion of this information as required.
Is designed to address vendor management and will initiate controls prior, during and after tendering activities. Used in this capacity, CommandHub will capture and prevent potential conflicts. This process is non-repudiatory and cannot be compromised.
May be used to manage external communications with Federal or other Government bodies. CommandHub meets and exceeds security requirements for the management of sensitive materials as defined by Australian Federal Government.
May be used as a case management repository by agencies working with the public, the disadvantaged or other communities. One case –worker can securely manage multiple cases with many access requirements, with all information securely separated and contained.
May be used to securely manage project work in sensitive areas. In particular working with external contractors who may have access to sensitive information. Access to documents can be managed, restricted and watermarked with a complete audit-trail surrounding the access to the information.
CommandHub will also prevent non-authorised personnel from saving, emailing or printing documents.
